at @3:28 , how come the far right of the image (white) doesn't turn completely black? if I understood correctly you are replacing every pixel that has a 255 with a 0. Can someone explain please?

This video saved me. The steps were almost as seen on your video. I was able to copy iMovie from one iMac to mine. All I saw online was trying to do a work around via the App Store. This was the only thing different from anything else I saw. Thank you so much!

actually you have shadows of the trees in the water so that's why generate s other trees ,the same is with removing any object without selecting it's shadow ,it will generate another object not removing it

@Signatureedits This is awesome! Here's a twist to keep things even simpler. With this you can use an adjustment layer to have the same effect over an entire sequence or portion of a sequence. Instead of duplicating the video layer... (1)place an Adjustment Layer over the clip. (2) Add Lumetry to the Adjustment Layer. (3) In Lumetry > Creative > drop Saturation to 0. (4) In Lumetry > Curves, lift the black point to top and drop the white point to bottom to invert the clip. (5) Change the blend mode of the Adjustment layer to Subtract (6)Adjust the opacity of the Adjustment Layer as desired.

Really cool idea. I managed to take this approach but the inverse, to combat harsh mid day shadows on people and instead remove contrast, without the overall image feeling too flat.

I've found that the Remove Tool in PS still works better than the Generative Remove in Lr. I'm not sure but I don't think your credits for Generative Ai tools in PS counts in Lr YET !!!! But I'm sure it will . They need to tease you first !!!!!!!

Actually, it would be awesome if LR lets us use the same masks identified from the adjustment brushes. So we don't need to paint the area especially like just changing the eye direction. Not even sure if I'm making sense. lol
